Prepares the famous tacos al pastor, Mexico's most popular dish.
Ingredients:
½ stick achiote paste (achiote Anita 1kg o Achiote El Yucateco 100gr)
½ cup orange juice
4 tablespoons corn oil
1 cup onion, finely chopped
1 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
1 kilo pork steak in steaks, with salt and pepper to taste
6 limes, quartered
½ onion, sliced
1 cup pineapple, natural, roasted and chopped in small pieces
Preparation:
1.- Blend the chilies, achiote, vinegar, orange juice and reserve the mixture.
2.- Coat the meat with the achiote mixture and cover with the rest of the mixture. Marinate for 2 hours.
3.- In a very hot frying pan, add oil with the sliced onion. Add the marinated meat until golden brown.
4.- Chop the cooked meat to make the tacos. Add the meat to the Mexsabores tortillas.
5.- Serve the tacos with onion, cilantro, lime, pineapple and your chosen sauce.
