      PREPARATION

      To make the pozole, rinse the Maíz Pozolero Carey under running water to remove any residue. In a large pot, add the corn, water, and, if desired, a little lime to facilitate cooking. Cook over medium heat for about 30-40 minutes or until the kernels are slightly open.

      Once cooked, add pork or chicken, chopped onion, garlic, chili powder, and other seasonings to taste. Let it cook for another half hour, then serve hot with side dishes such as sliced radishes, chopped lettuce, lime, and tortilla chips.
